R&D SCIENTIST CAMBRIDGESHIRE (PAYE – 12 MONTH CONTRACT)

A global biopharmaceutical organisation are currently recruiting for an R&D Scientist to join their facility based in the Cambridge area on a contract basis (PAYE), until approximately February 2025.

This position is around 80% lab–based and you will work closely with multiple R&D teams to deliver solutions and improvements in recombinant protein manufacturing. You will contribute to the delivery of new and/or improved CHO–based host cell lines and expression vectors. You will work with mammalian cell culture, support the generation of new cell lines from plasmid generation to clonal cell line assessment and also handle operation and improvement of automation equipment and workflows such as for the ambr15 and clone screening.

To be considered for the role candidates will need to be degree educated in a relevant life science subject area, with experience of cell culture and molecular biology. Experience with automated equipment would be advantageous.
