We are looking for a Microbiology Laboratory and Quality Assistant, on a full time basis, to work closely with the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager, to progress ongoing and one–off projects and provide laboratory support to the Quality Control team with daily activities as required.

Permanent; Full–time (Monday to Friday)

Facility is situated in Botolph Claydon in the vicinity of Aylesbury, Buckingham and Bicester

Salary is dependent on experience

An opportunity has arisen for a person to join our Quality team carrying out Quality Control and Quality Assurance duties; including laboratory based scientific investigations and QC/QA administration duties to support our products and our quality management systems.

The role comprises hands–on laboratory work, data collection and analysis, report writing, product release and documentation tasks associated with our quality management systems.

The successful candidate will be a reliable and adaptable person, able to work under own initiative. Thorough training will be given in all aspects of the role, including training in testing and quality release of products as well as the quality management systems in use at TCS Biosciences.

Due to the nature of our products a scientific background and/or previous laboratory experience is required, preferably in the field of microbiology and/or would suit a biological sciences graduate. Previous experience of working with quality management systems is desirable, but not essential.

The successful candidate will also need to have access to their own transport.
