Job Description

Join Our Team as a Product Sales Specialist at LGC! for a 10 month FTC

We are looking for Product specialist with a background in Life Sciences, Do you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for customer engagement and sales? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at LGC!

LGC is a global leader in the life sciences sector, and we are growing our sales and distribution operations in the UK, Ireland, and other regions within EMEA. We are looking for a dedicated Sales Specialist to join our team and support our diverse and innovative product portfolio.

What You'll Do:

As a Sales Specialist, you will:

Drive Sales: Increase sales by engaging with both internal and external customers, supporting our Core ATCC Team and Field Sales Personnel (FAS) to achieve annual targets.
Handle Enquiries: Manage and complete enquiries from all channels and product/business sectors, ensuring high levels of customer happiness.
Produce Quotations: Create and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to increase conversion rates.
Technical Support: Provide first–level technical support on enquiries, raising when necessary.
Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams to gather information and complete tender documents, ensuring compliance and meeting customer needs.
Customer Focus: Understand and respond to customer needs, upselling opportunities, and handling service levels for key and growth customers.
Support Events: Assist Technical Sales Specialists at exhibitions, seminars, and other events.
Use Tools Effectively: Apply systems like IFS/ERP, Salesforce, and other tools to support sales efforts.


Key Qualifications:

Education: Qualification in Life Sciences or an equivalent (scientific background preferred).
Experience: Proven experience in sales or customer service roles within the Life Sciences industry.
Language Skills: Fluent written and spoken proficiency in both Italian and English.
Skills: Excellent telephone manner, communication skills, problem–solving abilities, and a strong level of computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Attributes: Customer–focused, meticulous, and work collaboratively.
