The SalesRepresentative Microbiology (f/m/d) – South Germany (HomeOffice) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsiblefor growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins withinassigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services.Establishes professional relationships with key personnel incustomer accounts.

In this role, youwill have the opportunityto:

  • Identify and"qualify" Microbiology prospects and assessingcustomer needs, interests and qualifications in the Identification/ Anti–Insusceptibility (ID/AST) testing of potential customerswithin Automation fields in the Region:Würzburg, Nürnberg, Munich,Stuttgart.
  • Continuallydevelop knowledge of products, market and industry trends,competition and customer strategies for potentialdevelopment.
  • Drive theagreed sales strategy and implement strategic closing actionplan to meet area and country salesobjectives.
  • Be theprimary contact for customers within the area and handle customers'issues expeditiously andprofessionally.
  • Workin conjunction with marketing to resolve customer conflicts bydeveloping and implementing strategies and solutions designed toimprove customersatisfaction.

Theessential requirements of the job include:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Science, ideallyin Biology or a degree as a Medizinisch Technische Assistent In(MTA).
  • Ideally severalyears of professional experience in a similar sales positionwith focus on Sales/ Acquisition / BusinessDevelopment with capital equipment in the Medical Devicessector.
  • Anunderstanding of business management systems, including Excel,Word, PowerPoint and CRMtools.
  • Languageskills: German and English on a professionallevel
  • Travelavailability between 50–70%

Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein:

  • Ideallyexperience in direct selling in a similar field ofMicrobiology, processing expertknowledge in Microbiology/Bacterial Identification/Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing and a proven track record inmeeting and exceeding salestargets.
  • Ideallyan understanding of the German healthcare system and IVDtesting in a hospital environment as well as in the privatesector.
