The position involves handling 25–30 cases per day, including surgical pathology, GI, GU, neuropathology, hematopathology (bone marrow and lymph nodes), cytology, hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, and blood bank. There is no requirement for grossing or cutting frozen sections. The call schedule is 1:5, with rotating evening, weekend, and holiday coverage shared among 5 pathologists.
