About us
Applied Microbiology International (AMI) brings the microbiology community together across borders and disciplines, we look to the future and nurture those working and studying in our field, and we enable meaningful collaboration to advance scientific impact. At AMI we publish leading industry magazine, The Microbiologist, and in partnership with Wiley and Oxford University Press, we publish six internationally acclaimed journals. We provide funding to encourage research and broad participation at our events and to ensure diverse voices are around the table working together to solve the sustainability development goals we’ve chosen to support.
About you
- As an experienced and competent administrator, you will have confidence and competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and the use of CRM databases.
- You will be an organised multi-tasker, ideally with experience in the charity sector or a membership organisation.
- Capable of thinking logically, clearly and independently you will be comfortable working with data and technology, with a very good attention to detail.
- You will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team and have the capacity for, and enjoyment of, working from home (though we can discuss flexible office space membership local to you if you don’t have the capacity for homeworking).
