Technical Coordinator GBP28,000 – GBP30,000 per annum Bury St Edmunds Pin Point Recruitment is currently looking for a Technical Coordinator to join a legacy food manufacturing company based in Bury St Edmunds. The company are a family owned business that have been operating since the beginning of the 1800 s. They supply high quality food products worldwide and have recently added one of the UK s number one brands to its portfolio, cementing its place as the number one expert in its field throughout Europe. As the Technical Coordinator you will be responsible to ensure that Food Safety & Quality requirements at are met. You will be proactively working ensure all Quality Management Systems are up to date and compliant to current third party, customer and legal standards. Job Role: KPI/Quality reporting including trending of data weekly and monthly reports, data to be gathered, analysed and reported as per report schedule requirements Ensure that coordination and delivery of HACCP maintained as required including coordinating HACCP meetings, ensuring reviews and actions are carried out. Pest Control coordinate contractor visits, ensure actions are completed External testing ensure all nutrition & finished product micro testing is sent to external laboratories as per testing schedule requirements Document Control manage and maintain the document control system for Technical procedures, policies and associated documentation Calibration coordinate all equipment on calibration schedule to be calibrated by external companies Traceability be the site expert on traceability and ensure full understanding of the system External Audit assistance when required, provide assistance in QMS capacity Duties as part of technical team: GMP audits System audits Approving recipe cards Continuous Improvement– proactively supports and leads improvement projects where required and work cross functionally to drive positive change Skills Required: Food technical experience; including microbiology, processing and HACCP – Essential Able to influence effectively at all levels and cross functionally – Essential Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications and Teams – Essential Thorough understanding of BRC standards & requirements Desirable Food science or related degree qualification – Desirable Previous experience within a Manufacturing Environment Desirable Apply now for more information
