And we're ready for more people who share our passion for quality to join us. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Manager at our Bakkavor site in Holbeach. Job Purpose: To define and monitor the Quality System used by the group chemistry and microbiology laboratories to ensure all client accreditation requirements (internal and external) are met. To manage and monitor Bakkavor laboratory policies to ensure adherence and compliance. To assist Central Food Scientist with the monitoring of contract laboratory services Skills Required Demonstrates an ability to work in and lead a team Be able to communicate clearly at all levels Organised and flexible Ability to motivate people Knowledge Experience of the core computer software use by the laboratory and Bakkavor In depth understanding of all relevant reference standards and methods for laboratories In depth understanding of Laboratory quality systems Understanding of SHE policies and procedures Qualifications required. GCSE in Maths, English & Science or equivalent. Degree in microbiology or equivalent Completion of audit training This role requires someone with knowledge of and experience in, Laboratory Quality Systems and Accreditation (CLAS & UKAS) as a minimum requirement.
