Sales Manager UK & ROI Leicestershire GBP50,000–GBP60,000p.a. DOE plus uncapped quarterly bonus Are you an experienced Sales Manager with a strong understanding of life science laboratory equipment and consumables? Are you a natural leader with the ability to drive and implement sales strategies to exceed revenue growth and profit targets set? The Company: ER Recruitment is excited to be working with our client who is one of the UK s leading independent life sciences laboratory suppliers and who are looking for a Sales Manager to directly manage the field sales team across the UK and ROI. Role & Responsibilities of the Sales Manager: To support, maintain & grow the current sales in all Account Manager s, Business Development Manager s & Territory Manager s regions. To exceed revenue growth and profit targets set in all Sales Team s regions by creating and implementing Sales Strategies To support training and development of all Account Managers, Business Development Managers & Territory Managers to ensure all targets are met. To ensure all Account Managers, Business Development Managers & Territory Managers are fully trained on all products, procedures and software programmes to ensure all targets and KPI s are hit. Ownership of hitting all Quarterly/Annual sales & financial targets for all Sales Teams areas Design and implementation of strategic Sales Plans, Conversion and Forecasting for All Sales Areas on a quarterly, 6 monthly and Annual Basis. Submitted to Head of Sales/Directors Ownership of CRM and ensuring all Sales Team members use of the CRM is up to date including other various critical customer account information. Maximise van delivery routes by planning with Transport Manager New customers and rolling out to the Sales Team, to maximise route efficiency. To find, attend and promote the company at relevant Trade Shows and Exhibitions Working closely alongside Customer Support Manager to understand and improve customer issues, quote turnaround time and Calibrations Targets are hit. Full Understanding of our competitors and how we stay on–top of the competition. What are they doing and how do we do better. To work in partnership with our suppliers in order to promote new products and increase our market share/sales. About You as the Sales Manager: Minimum of 5–years working within Life Science Industry Sales Experience Managing a Team with a proven track record of hitting targets and KPIs Ability to plan strategically and analytically A people person with exceptional relationship–building abilities with customers and team members Bachelor s Degree in related field, such as microbiology, biological science, cellular biology, biomedical science or chemistry required as a minimum Full clean UK driving licence Additional Benefits: Contributory Pension 24 days holiday entitlement + Bank Holidays iPhone, Laptop and Home Office Equipment Private Healthcare Plan Life Assurance Please note by applying for this role you give consent for ER Recruitment to retain your CV for up to 24 months for the purposes of assisting you to find your next role unless you notify us otherwise.
