Join our global Quality team as a QC Analyst where you will be responsible for providing active ingredients that meet the highest pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance standards. You will achieve, together with your colleagues in Quality Assurance, Regulatory and Quality Systems, the delivery of a resilient supply of quality products to our clients.

Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Sampling and analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, drug substances and drug products
  • Conduct Chemistry or Microbiology testing: HPLC, FTIR, NIR, Bioburden, Identification of Microorganisms, environment monitoring, media testing etc.
  • Documenting analytical data and results according to cGMP.
  • Testing print packaging material.
  • Collate analytical data into release packs, review of raw data, where appropriate, ensuring all documented results are in accordance with the appropriate product/ material specification and good documentation practice.
  • Ensure that equipment assigned is maintained and fit for purpose.
  • Carry out risk/COSHH assessments and carry out laboratory maintenance.
  • Maintain a complete inventory of reference and retention samples.

This role is a job share, part time for 2 days per week – Monday and Tuesday 9am–5.30pm. This will commence 22 January 2024 and end on the 31 January 2025.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world's largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.

Our Requirements

Sciences degree – preferably chemistry or microbiology. Proven understanding and application of QC analytical methods & techniques. Working knowledge of laboratory health and safety and cGMP.
